Pedro is a young Spanish pianist, conductor and countertenor, trained in Barcelona, London and Zurich. 

Living in Antwerpen, he is permanent staff as a répétiteur at the Opera Vlaanderen,

Biography

Born in Cartagena (South of Spain), he trains as a pianist with César Montalvo, Pilar Valero and Adolf Plà. Undergraduate studies at the ESMuC (Barcelona) in Orchestral Conducting with Jordi Mora and Singing with Mireia Pintó, and further private studies with the distinguished professor Richard Levitt in Basel, Switzerland.

In addition of a conductor and a singer, Pedro is a pianist-répétiteur. As such he was a trainee répétiteur at the National Opera Studio in London, supported by the Amar-Franses & Foster-Jenkins Trust and Royal Opera House - Covent Garden, and he is invited to the "Mozart Academy 2012" at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence (France), The European Opera Centre (Liverpool) and the Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona). 

From the Season 16/17 Pedro is part of the permanent Music Staff of the Opera Vlaanderen, in Antwerpen and Ghent, in Belgium.

He has had the opportunity to work with personalities such as the conductors  Victor Pablo Pérez, Renato Palumbo, Maurizio Benini, Vasily Petrenko, Richard Bonynge, Alexander Joel and Fabio Luisi. He has accompanied masterclasses for singers and instrumentalists given by Kiri-te-Kanawa, Ann Murray, Brigitte Fassbaender, Angelika Kirschlager, Carlos Chausson, María de Macedo and Lluís Claret.
